How to read it

  1. Serving size

One gummy. Everything on the panel is per gummy, and the whole daily dose is one serving.

  2. The nutrition block

10 calories, 3 g of carbohydrate, 3 g of total sugar, all of it added sugar at 6% of the Daily Value. Modest for a chewable.

  3. Sodium

4 mg, correctly labelled as under 1%. It comes from the sodium citrate in the gummy base.

  4. The blend line

82 mg covering nine ingredients, with a dagger meaning no Daily Value has been established. This is the entire active side of the product.

  5. The names underneath

Listed heaviest first, which is the one piece of information a blend does give you. Caffeine carries its own amount in brackets.

  6. The footnote

“Equivalent to approximately 567 mg of dry powders”: an extract-ratio claim about raw material, not about active compound.

  7. Other ingredients

Corn syrup, cane sugar, water, apple pectin, sorbitol liquid, natural flavors, citric acid, sodium citrate dihydrate. Apple pectin is the gelling agent, which makes the vegetarian badge checkable.

What this panel does well, and where it falls short

It is worth being fair before being critical. This label prints its other-ingredients line in full, declares a stimulant with its amount inside the blend, and states its origin honestly as “made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients”. Plenty of labels in this category do none of those things.

Done well

  • The full other-ingredients line is printed
  • Caffeine declared with its amount, inside the blend
  • Blend names listed in descending weight order
  • Serving size and servings per container both stated
  • The standard FDA disclaimer present, twice
  • Honest origin wording rather than a bare “made in USA”

Falls short

  • Eight of nine amounts are not published
  • No standardisation for any extract
  • No Latin names, so catuaba and Epimedium species are unknown
  • No manufacturer named, only a distributor
  • No expiry date visible in the supplied photographs
  • The dry-powder footnote implies a ratio without naming one

What we would publish if the maker sent more

  • The eight missing amounts inside the blend, in milligrams.
  • Standardisation for each extract, such as a percentage of withanolides for the ashwagandha.
  • Latin names for catuaba and the Epimedium species, since both names cover more than one plant.
  • A certificate of analysis for the lot on your bottle.
  • The extract ratio behind the “567 mg of dry powders” footnote, stated as a ratio.
  • A manufacturer name, not only a distributor.

Every one of those would make this site shorter and more useful. Ask for them; a seller who answers with specifics is a seller worth buying from.

Supplement facts: questions

More answers on the full FAQ page.

What is in Jellyfil?

One proprietary blend of 82 mg containing nine ingredients: muira puama, maca, catuaba, green tea, caffeine (5 mg), ashwagandha, L-arginine, tribulus terrestris and horny goat weed. Plus 10 calories, 3 g of sugar and 4 mg of sodium.

Is 82 mg a lot?

No. 82 mg is about the weight of a large grain of rice. L-arginine alone is studied at 3,000–6,000 mg a day, maca at 1,500–3,000 mg and ashwagandha at 300–600 mg. Even if one ingredient took the whole blend, it would be below all of those.

Is there caffeine in it?

Yes — 5 mg, printed inside the blend. That is roughly a twentieth of a cup of coffee. It does not appear in any of the seller’s marketing graphics, which is worth knowing if you avoid caffeine.

How much sugar is in a gummy?

Three grams of total sugar, all of it added sugar, which is 6% of the Daily Value. The gummy is 10 calories. Corn syrup and cane sugar head the other-ingredients line.
